About Me

Hi!  I’m Jody Sterling and I’ve been quilting for more than 25 years. I started quilting when my three daughters were young; I now have 4 grand-girls to quilt for. Life is good! I spent my working life in office management, in mostly law and education settings. I found that office management is often like making a quilt — so many pieces that need to be organized and put together to make it work.

I have always dreamed of designing my own quilts and now that I’m retired I have time to dream big!  I love geometric patterns, the colors aqua and coral, and designing patterns for everyone, especially beginners. I hope you enjoy my patterns, as much as I enjoy creating them!

As part of my duties in the office positions, I refined my proofreading and editing skills…legal briefs, billing statements, newsletters, etc., and found I really enjoyed it! For that reason, I am happy to provide quilt pattern tech editing services to quilt pattern designers.
